With GEOWATTCORE, more than 50 types of borehole heat exchanger systems can be designed and simulated online.

Planning offices, drilling companies, private individuals or institutions can use GEOWATTCORE to calculate all the relevant design data for a borehole heat exchanger project themselves.

For more complex systems that are not represented in the 50 system types, GEOWATT AG can create special models and deliver them to the customer's account.

GEOWATTCORE is recommended by the Swiss Heat Pump Association FWS.

Planning/simulation

The model assistant offers 3 layout types: All-in-One, Standard and Special models.

  • All-in-one: Design by approximate solution and/or exact simulation
  • Standard: Model assistant for standard systems
  • Special models: simulation models of any complexity can be ordered
  • Cooling and regeneration
  • Refurbishments (e.g. BHE field or heat pumps)
  • Temporally changing system components
  • Neighbouring systems
  • Hydraulic calculation

Measurement data

Measurements such as ground temperatures, TRT/eTRT data and geology can be uploaded.

  • Upload your own measurements
  • Evaluate measurements
  • Enter geological profiles, output estimated values for thermal rock parameters

QA data

Flow and tightness tests, backfilling data and drilling parameters can be uploaded and evaluated.

We will be happy to assist you in carrying out QA measurements on borehole heat heat exchangers.

We support you online via chat on workdays.

If you grant us specific access to your project, we can

  • control your models, calculation scenarios and measurement data
  • support you in editing a project
  • Evaluate your measurement data and save the results directly in your project

Fees

GEOWATTCORE can be used freely except for the calculations. A credits system is used for the calculations.

As soon as a login has been applied for and created, you can start entering project data.

In order to be able to perform calculations with your own models, credits must be purchased. These can be ordered online. With the credits, either individual calculations can be carried out or daily, weekly, monthly or annual subscriptions can be purchased. During the term of a subscription, any number of calculations can be carried out.

Each variable from each model element can be displayed as an hourly, monthly or annual value. All results can also be downloaded as text files.

For each calculated year, the isolines of the temperature change in the soil can be displayed.
